What two beautiful ladies in the picture above! I was SO looking forward to seeing Erin a couple weeks ago but sweet Caroline had her brief stomach flu throughout the night we were supposed to go see them in Hilton Head! Then we left for Colorado and got back to SC just in time for them to fly out to Hawaii for some R&R (we lead tough lives, don't we!). So, now that we are both back in SC she came up to help us pack for our move (in 2 days!!!) to STL. Being with her was like being home again! We were back together like no time had passed! (I hadn't seen her in a year in a half - WAY too long). She was great with Caroline and will be a fabulous mother one day.
And look at what she helped us do (she and our mothers packed these boxes for us!)! She just moved from Colorado to Hilton Head so she is a pro packer these days! Her packing skills and her ability to make Caroline abundantly joyful helped us get so much accomplished this afternoon - even with a white cheese dip break at a Mexican restaurant downtown.
