Caroline our extravert

Today was a free day at the summit. Most of the people went up to Denver for the day, but due to our sweet girls need for naps, we figured that wouldn't be the best. We decided to have a "stay-cation" and tour around Colorado Springs with two other couples we have become good friends with the past two years!
We went to Chipotle for lunch and then went to the Air Force Academy to tour around. It was neat to see the area. It is a huge campus. The highlight was visiting the Cadet Chapel.
It is a beautiful building! We could tell it is probably a very popular wedding spot because there was a wedding there today while we were there. It has a protestant sanctuary upstairs that was so beautiful (where the wedding was) and also a Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist and Muslim worship area as well. All were cool to see.
After that we went back to The Glen for Caroline's nap time and then went over to Manitou Springs for dinner. It is a charming little town that has a Mexican restaurant that David and I enjoyed when we lived here. So we took our friends and had a great time.

Caroline was our little extravert the whole time. She is so energized by people! She has been so great on this trip and we have loved having so many eager baby holders!!
