We had a great 10 days with family in Alabama. It was one of the most restful holidays we have had since we've been married. David was able to catch up on much needed rest - he had many late nights studying this semester! I was able to watch other people play with Caroline while I smiled and put my feet up :-) Our families know how to love on and spoil us. We are so grateful to have wonderful families!
David left super early this morning with Pete to drive back to St. Louis. There were bad storms predicted on his journey, so he left early to beat the bad weather. He got home safely! Caroline and I are flying home on New Years Day. A 1 hour flight beats a 9 hour drive any day in my book :-)
