We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the Elys. We had a great time. They know how to spoil us! Bruce and Karen woke up with Caroline every morning and let David and me sleep in! So nice.
Christmas Eve is always fun because David's uncle's family comes over for dinner and we open presents.

Great Aunt Janet helping Caroline open presents

Karen (Gigi), Caroline, Me and Jenny - we all got the red shirt memo!

We were able to video chat with David's cousin in Seattle! What a treat. They are expecting baby #4 in two weeks!
Christmas morning was lots of fun too! We opened stockings, the rest of our presents and had a big breakfast!

Great Grandma Thompson enjoyed the festivities too while she nursed her broken arm back to health.

Caroline loved her present from us, a tunnel that leads to a pop up tent.

We had fun surprising each other with our little stocking gifts! Caroline racked up with some cute clothes and toys from Gigi and Didi! David was suited up for Christmas and I was treated with a beautiful necklace. I love it!

It was a christmas miracle this year with a white christmas! The snow was beautiful and very rare for Birmingham. It added a sweet element to the day as we listened to christmas music and played in the snow!
