Caroline is moving to a big girl bed as her 2nd birthday gift! Her grandparents and parents came together to make this bed happen! :-) Mimi and Grandaddy (my parents) got the frame and the headboard, Gigi and Didi (David's parents) got the mattress and box spring, and Mama and Daddy got the rest! She was so excited and kept saying "books and nap!" She wanted to lay down and read books as soon as we got it put up. She and daddy snuggled and read books as he put her down, and it was just so darn cute! It has taken her a while to go down tonight because she has been so excited, but we'll see how this goes!
During the set up, Caroline was determined to be Daddy's little helper. So he let her help him screw in a couple screws. It was very cute. She is a task-oriented almost 2 year old!
