We certainly have an active six month old! She is so much fun. She loves to play, laugh, squeal and now try to pull up on everything. She doesn't pull up to standing but she does pull up to her knees. She is also getting in the crawling position often, but hasn't gone anywhere yet.
She has started solid foods now as well. She loves bananas! It was funny when she started it last week. She would take the food in her mouth and then just push it out. Now she will eat a slice of a banana off a fork! Such an improvement in just a week! It has been so fun watching her learn. She likes peaches, but she always hates the first bit - or at least looks startled at the first bite. My pears are not ripe yet, but they should be by tomorrow - so that is next. I couldn't find avocados in the grocery store... but I want to give that a shot soon too. She loves eating.
David says: It is hard to believe that she has grown and changed so much in just six months. She continues to give us so many reasons to smile. My favorite new thing she does is entertaining herself by playing with toys while she sits up. It cracks me up how fascinated she is with Pete too.
I'll second that playing by herself thing. She squeals while she does it, as if she is talking to (or with) her toys. I'd love to know what is going on inside that head of hers!
