Caroline is Staying Normal...

We had the MRI this morning. It was an ordeal, poor thing. Waking up from anesthesia was not a pretty or pleasant experience. The doctor warned us that she would wake up angry and frantic, which was true. It is now 12:30 and she is just starting to be herself, though a little dizzy at times. So we're watching her closely because she could fall over easily.

Our pediatrician called and said the MRI looked great! No tumors or fluid. So now it is off to find out what's really going on. She's going on Zantac and we'll see how that works for a month.

We are so glad and hopeful that her little body will be healed soon! Thank you for your prayers!

Please continue to pray for my mom. As we were in the hospital with Caroline, she was in the hospital getting her regular scans. She has been in a lot of pain since christmas. The doctors have discovered that one of her tumors in her abdomen is pushing against her ureter, blocking it from draining her kidney effectively. So she has been admitted to the hospital and is having surgery tomorrow to have a stint put in her ureter to relieve the kidney.  Please pray for her surgery, recovery and for those tumors to just stop growing... or better yet, respond to her treatment, shrink and go away!
