This weekend our U (the folks in our area of the apartment complex) celebrated the graduation of four of our neighbors. We really are such a tightly knit group and it is so sad to me that each year people will leave. I am so grateful that these four families have let me in their lives for their last year here. So far they are moving to Alberta, Texas and DC = spread out!
The three of us (pictured below) will all finish at the same time, so we've got two years left together - yay!
And these are our husbands. It is so great that the three wives and the three husbands all like each other so much.
Here are two of the four sweet darlings leaving. These two and I watched The Biggest Loser on Tuesdays together, among lots of other play dates and dinners together. This is kind of fun, we all got married within a month of each other and had our first babies within 6 months of each other. They are both going on baby #2, can't you see their glow? :-)
Here are most of us lower u gals. All of us spend lots of time in the parking lot and on each others front porches together. We each say, "good afternoon, good morning and good night" (anyone know that movie?) each day! Katie said it best, this community feels like a glimpse of what heaven will be like.
Here we are at the end of our sweet goodbye cookout, once most of the babies were put to bed (that groups represents parents of 13 children). The folks on the left side of the picture are all graduating. Congratulations, y'all! I'm so sad you're leaving, but so excited for what the Lord has in store for you!
