Nova Scotia and PEI

Hello! So, recovering from jet lag and getting back into work and daily life after being gone for two weeks took a bit more time than I was expecting. So, lets see if I can update you.

On the 4th of July, David and I flew from Columbia's friendly little airport (it really is - with rocking chairs all over the place) to Newark and met up with David's parents - then we all flew together to Halifax. We spent a few days in Cape Breton and a few in Prince Edward Island. We had a great time together. We went to so many wonderful restaurants, hiked a lot, the boys went fly-fishing and Karen and I got a pedicure. :-) It was so nice and fun.

Cape Breton

This picture is from the Barn at our inn where we heard Cape Breton locals playing music.
This was our room/cabin in Cape Breton (see the kittens? they loved us) :-)

This is the view of the coast from the Cabot Trail (a drive around the top of Cape Breton)

Prince Edward Island
In PEI, we went kayaking, visiting Anne of Green Gables sites, visited a goat farm, saw Anne the play, visited Charlottetown, visited the Canadian Founders Museum and ate great food - including the best dinner we've had in our marriage.

The picture below is of our inn, the Stanhope Bay Resort - so nice!
