Caroline has been playing with some bigger kids this summer, since most of the ones her age moved away (still sad!). The bigger kids (ages 2.5 - 5) all have bikes and love to ride around the neighborhood. Caroline was always wanting to get on a big kid bike! I'd find her sometimes climbing (successfully) on adult bikes, kids bikes, any bike she saw. She even would put on helmets :-)
One of our neighbors finally felt sorry for sweet Caroline and gave her an old bike they weren't using anymore! Caroline has been thrilled and rides it everyday (she sits on it and we push... her pedaling isn't quite there yet).
She is speaking a lot more, but mainly the first syllable of words. So, whenever she sees a bike in real life or in books she points and with a big smile says "Bi!"
